Before You Get to the Closing Table

While its not the most sexy news, significant changes were made this month by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to the Closing Disclosure that consumers see at the closing of a sale or purchase of a home. I’ve attended numerous seminars and classes explaining how these changes will affect a real estate transaction. See the CFPB links below to learn more and by all means, make certain that you are working with an agent who fully understands the new requirements during the purchase and sale process. These changes are good but also must be understood by the professionals you engage to handle your real estate transaction.
